PP to submit draft law to repeal the definition of non-traditional sexual orientation

We Continue the Change party (PP) will submit next week a bill to amend the Law on Preschool and School Education to repeal the recently adopted definition of non-traditional sexual orientation. The voted texts prohibit the propaganda in the education system of ideas related to non-traditional sexual orientation and determination of gender identity other than biological.

According to the party, the change in the law begins a dangerous process towards fascism in Bulgaria. "With actions in the parliament, we will counteract the blacklists of Bulgarian teachers", says the position of the PP.

In the meantime, it became clear that the Varna District Prosecutor's Office has self-referred to the list published by the local organization "Vazrazhdane" with the names of 26 teachers who have declared themselves against the amendment to the law.

"We insist on guarantees that these persons will not carry out illegal propaganda against the children of Varna! Parents can ask for an explanation from the principals of the schools where the persons in question are parasitizing," said the party's post on social networks, which was later deleted.

According to PP, there is no propaganda in schools and any content that reaches students is first approved by the Ministry of Education and Science.
