Over the past 24 hours, 170 wildfires have been extinguished in the country, the General Directorate "Fire Safety and Protection of the Population" announced on its website.

Firefighters and volunteers participate in controlling the fire in the Viskyar mountain, next to the village of Rasnik near Pernik. The chapel "St. St. Peter and Paul" above the village, also known as the Viskyar monastery, was affected.

Because of the fire between the villages of Dalboki and Oryahovitsa in the municipality of Stara Zagora, a partial state of emergency was declared, there are outbreaks that continue to smolder. There is no danger to the population.

Because of the fire in Rila Mountain, which has been burning for more than three days, the mayor of Dupnitsa Parvan Dangov declared a partial state of emergency. Under Cherni Vrah, the fire affected about 50 acres of the territory of the National Park "Rila" and is in difficult-to-access terrain. There are about 80 people on the ground, including firefighters, foresters, employees of the Rila and Pirin national parks, military personnel, and volunteers.

Due to the penetration of the flames into the exposed parts, it became possible to extinguish from the air. Since yesterday, a helicopter from the Krumovo airbase has been dousing the flames.

The other fire in Rila Mountain under the Kalin dam, has been contained, but due to separate outbreaks, people will remain to watch for a new flare-up.
