MPs ban the sale of smokeless cigarettes to minors

The Bulgarian National Assembly has banned the use, sale and offering of smokeless and heatable  tobacco products to children and youth under 18 years of age.

"The next battle we have to fight together is against the use of energy drinks among teenagers. Maybe this will be the first thing we will start in the next parliament", said the GERB-SDS MP Kostadin Angelov, who is among the initiators of the legislative changes.

In the Child Protection Act, the people's representatives unanimously recorded that the so-called "vapes" will no longer be able to be advertised on radio and television.
