Weather forecast for 11 September

Rain to ease but temperatures to remain low

Skies will be overcast. Rain and thunder will fall in many places, especially in the eastern half of the country. Winds will be light to moderate, from east-southeast in eastern areas and west-northwest in the rest of the country. Temperatures will also drop in eastern Bulgaria, with highs mostly between 20° and 25°C, around 19°C in Sofia.

Clouds will cover the mountains. There will be heavy rain in many places, which will abate and stop in the afternoon. Winds will be moderate to strong from the WNW. Maximum temperatures will be around 15°C at 1,200 metres and around 9°C at 2,000 metres.

Cloudy weather will prevail along the Black Sea coast. There will be rain showers, heavy in some places, accompanied by thunderstorms. In the evening the rain will subside. Light to moderate winds will blow from east-southeast. Maximum temperatures will be 24°-26°C. Water temperatures will be 24°- 25°C. The sea swell will be 1-2, reaching 3 on the northern Black Sea coast.
