At an informal meeting, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev accepted the invitation of his North Macedonian counterpart, Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, for an official visit to Skopje. A date for the visit has not been set. There was no official statement from the Bulgarian side after the conversation in Sofia, BTA and BGNES report.
"The inclusion of Bulgarians in the constitution of North Macedonia does not depend on me. If I were an absolute monarch, I would say that I would change the constitution," Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova said. In order to start negotiations for EU membership, the Republic of North Macedonia must change the Constitution and include the Bulgarians in it.
