Rain to stop as clouds break

Overnight it will be mostly cloudy, but precipitation will start to decrease from the west. Lows will be between 1° and 6°C, around 2°C in Sofia.

On Friday, as the light wind from the northwest intensifies, cloudiness will begin to break up and decrease, with mostly sunny conditions in the northwest after noon. Central and Eastern Bulgaria will remain cloudy for most of the day, with scattered light showers. There will be moderate northwesterly winds, temporarily strong in the western part of the Danube plain. Maximum temperatures will be between 5 and 10°C, around 5°C in Sofia.

It will be cloudy in the mountains and foggy on the high ridges and peaks. Precipitation will be concentrated in the mountains of south-western Bulgaria, where it will snow above about 1,500 m. After midday, clouds will begin to break up from the west. Moderate winds will blow from west-northwest. The maximum temperature will be about 3°C at 1,200 m and about minus 1°C at 2,000 m.

The Black Sea coast will be overcast, with light rain showers in many places. There will be moderate winds from the northwest. Maximum temperatures will be between 8°C and 10°C. The sea temperature will be 13°-15°. The sea swell will be 2-3.
