The parliamentary group of "DPS - New Beginning" submitted a draft resolution to the parliament for signing an agreement in the field of security between Bulgaria and Ukraine. It gives a mandate to caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev to sign the document during the European Council meeting, which is being held today in Brussels. Yesterday, GERB-SDS called on Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev to withdraw the agreement, arguing that the decision should be made by a regular cabinet. In response, Glavchev commented from Brussels that if a parliamentary majority is gathered, he would sign the agreement.
Regarding the refusal of the caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev to sign the document, Nikolai Denkov from "We Continue the Change" pointed out that PP-DB support the document on cooperation with Ukraine. Denkov criticized Glavchev for not wanting to make a commitment and transferring the decision to the parliament.
