20,000 households affected by power outages are expected to receive additional financial assistance

At today's meeting, the Council of Ministers will vote on the allocation of BGN 2 million (EUR 1 million) for the households that have been left without electricity in recent days due to the complicated winter situation. More than 20,000 households are expected to receive financial assistance.

More than a hundred settlements in the municipalities of Gabrovo, Elena, Lovech and Troyan were left without electricity.

The caretaker cabinet will also discuss a draft agreement with the government of the Republic of North Macedonia for the construction of the cross-border railway tunnel facility "Deve Bair", said the government press service.
