The latest project by director Stefan Komandarev, "The Block Universe", is one of the 35 selected projects at the most important global forum for film co-productions, the Berlinale Co-Production Market. Every year there are hundreds of candidates, the selection process takes several months and the chosen ones are few, BTA reported.
"For us, this is a huge recognition of the quality of the project, which will open more doors for its successful realization as a European co-production. It was created with the efforts and talent of Ralitsa Golemanova and Pavla Kotova. Special thanks to Martina Blaise and her team for selecting ''The Block Universe"! I also thank our German co-producers from 42film GmbH! The support of the emergency medics from the Center for Emergency Medical Care – Sofia in our research was invaluable to us!'', said Stefan Komandarev.
His latest film "Blaga's Lessons" won the Crystal Globe in Karlovy Vary and several other prestigious awards.
