The repairs to the Danube Bridge, connecting Bulgaria and Romania, have been partially halted, BNT reported. This was necessary due to the low temperatures in recent days in Ruse and the entire country.
It is expected that the repairs to the Danube Bridge will be resumed next week.

According to the plans, due to the repairs, from 5:00 p.m. on March 6 to 5:00 a.m. on March 7 and from 5:00 p.m. on March 27 to 5:00 a.m. on March 28, the bridge will be completely closed to traffic, both for heavy and passenger cars.

Then all drivers will have to find an alternative route to get to Romania.
