The Executive Agency National Film Center (NFC) has launched a new digital platform Filmcenter.bg. The portal facilitates free access for international and Bulgarian professionals to key information, contacts and resources in the Bulgarian film industry. The project is part of efforts to position Bulgaria as a predictable and desirable partner in the industry.

"Bulgaria offers unique natural and architectural locations, skilled crews, actors, competitive production costs and financial incentives, including reimbursement of up to 25% of eligible costs. Major international studios such as Warner Bros, Paramount Pictures and Universal Pictures often choose Bulgaria as a shooting destination," said Petar Todorov, director of the centre. He added that Filmcenter.bg was applying the good experience of Romania, Albania and other countries and regions.
