The donor situation was carried out by a team from the "Dr. Stefan Cherkezov" Hospital in Veliko Tarnovo. A kidney transplant was performed on a 60-year-old man in Bulgaria. Under the agreement with Romania, a 33-year-old man was given a new chance at life after undergoing a liver transplant. According to information from the healthcare facilities, the patients are in good overall condition and remain under medical supervision in the intensive care units.
