Since its establishment on April 11, 2022, the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology – INSAIT has achieved a number of successes and continues to position Bulgaria on the world's technological map.
There have been several significant projects since the beginning of 2025:
The Ministry of Defense and INSAIT signed a strategic memorandum of cooperation. Bulgaria and the Institute hosted a forum for applied cryptography and cybersecurity – RWC 2025, which brought together world experts in Sofia.
With a project by INSAIT and Sofia Tech Park worth 90 million euros, Bulgaria was selected to build one of the six new artificial intelligence factories of the European Union.
