On World Book and Copyright Day, this evening at 7:00 p.m., the annual "Knight of the Book" Awards - 2025 will be presented at a ceremony in the "Peroto" literary club. The awards are presented to individuals whose work and efforts have contributed to the popularization of books in Bulgaria in the past year. The categories include: journalist or media, librarian or library, teacher or school, public figure with the greatest contribution to Bulgarian book publishing in the past year.
The award was established in 2004 by the "Ciela" publishing house. Later, in 2006, the organization of the event was taken over by the Bulgarian Book Association - the largest association of book publishers and booksellers in the country.
