Bulgarian students return with two silver medals from European Olympiad of Experimental Sciences

The Bulgarian student teams that participated in the European Olympiad of Experimental Sciences EOES 2025 in Zagreb have returned with two silver medals, the Ministry of Education and Science reported.

The competition, which took place from April 26 to May 3, 2025, was attended by 48 teams from 23 European Union Member States and one visiting team from Ukraine.

Bulgaria was represented by two teams, the participants in which were selected among the winners of the national Olympiads in chemistry and biology and the national Autumn Physics Competition.

During the first competition day, the students solved problems related to the various methods for studying fresh and salt water. In the second round, the problems were related to kinetics and speed.
