A campaign called "Path of Knowledge", aimed at raising awareness of the symptoms and risk factors leading to stroke, is starting in Bulgaria, reports the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA). The initiative is organized in connection with the European Stroke Awareness Day and will take place in the major district cities across the country. Bulgarian communities in London and Prague will also join the national campaign.
The "Path of Knowledge" is a seven-meter-long experiential learning installation that provides participants with basic knowledge about stroke — types of strokes, risk factors, recommendations for risk control, symptoms and the appropriate response when they are detected.
