In Minister Petkova’s words, Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev can restructure the budget and ensure a salary increase for the protesting public transport workers.

For his part, Bulgaria’s Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev criticized Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev for the delayed decision to declare May 14 a non-school day due to the transport strike.
