Bulgarian President Radev invites his new Romanian counterpart Nikusor Dan to visit Bulgaria

Bulgaria's Head of State Rumen Radev has officially invited Romania's new President Nikusor Dan to visit Bulgaria, the Bulgarian President's press office announced.
In a telephone conversation, Radev congratulated Dan on his convincing victory in the presidential elections in Romania and expressed Bulgaria's aspiration to deepen the partnership with its northern neighbor. Radev stressed that Romania is Bulgaria's second largest trading partner and bilateral exchange exceeds 7 billion euros annually. 

He also highlighted the significant cooperation of the two countries on leading topics in the EU and NATO, ensuring security in the region and joining efforts for connectivity, which will improve the investment profile of the region and stimulate business and tourism, the statement added.
