On Thursday, minimum temperatures will range from 8°C to 14°C. Around 9°C is expected in Sofia. In the mountains, there will be significant cloud cover over the western massifs, accompanied by precipitation. In the central and eastern massifs, brief showers are expected, with snowfall above 2,300 metres. A moderate to strong north-westerly wind will blow, easing slightly during the day. The maximum temperature at 1,200 metres will be around 12 °C and around 5 °C at 2,000 metres.
Along the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly sunny. However, scattered showers may develop in the afternoon as cumulus clouds build up. There is a high chance of heavier rainfall in the Burgas area on Thursday night. Maximum air temperatures will range from 20°C to 24°C. Sea temperatures will range from 15°C to 18°C, with a sea swell of 1–2 metres.
On Friday, expect sunny conditions in the morning, followed by showers across much of the country in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged.
