On Thursday, minimum temperatures will range from 8°C to 14°C. Around 9°C is expected in Sofia. The likelihood of rain is lowest in the western Danube Plain. Temperatures will be relatively cool for the end of May, reaching a maximum of between 19°C and 24°C and around 18°C in Sofia.
In the mountains, there will be significant cloud cover over the western massifs, accompanied by precipitation. In the central and eastern massifs, brief showers are expected, with snowfall above 2,300 metres. A moderate to strong north-westerly wind will blow, easing slightly during the day. The maximum temperature at 1,200 metres will be around 12 °C and around 5 °C at 2,000 metres.
Along the Black Sea coast, it will be mostly sunny. However, scattered showers may develop in the afternoon as cumulus clouds build up. There is a high chance of heavier rainfall in the Burgas area on Thursday night. Maximum air temperatures will range from 20°C to 24°C. Sea temperatures will range from 15°C to 18°C, with a sea swell of 1–2 metres.
On Friday, expect sunny conditions in the morning, followed by showers across much of the country in the afternoon. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged.
