Heat warning issued across the country

On Tuesday, the lowest temperatures will range from 17°C to 24°C, in Sofia 17°C. It will be sunny during the day, with temporary increases in cloudiness over the mountainous regions in the afternoon. The maximum temperatures will be between 37°C and 42°C, around 37°C in the capital city.

It will be sunny in the mountains, with temporary increases in cloudiness in the afternoon hours. Rain is unlikely. There will be a light to moderate westerly and southwesterly wind. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be around 33°C, at 2,000 meters around 26°C.

Along the Black Sea coast, it will be sunny and hot in the afternoon. There will be a light to moderate southeasterly wind. Daytime highs will be between 30°C and 33°C. The sea water temperature is 24–26°C. Sea state 1–2 on the Beaufort scale.

On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly sunny. Cumulus clouds will develop in the afternoon, with a chance of isolated brief showers. In western Bulgaria, the wind will be light, while in the east it will be light to moderate. Temperatures will reach up to 42°C in some places.
