Bulgaria wins gold in the 25 M Pistol Trio Women and 25 M Pistol Women at the European Shooting Championship

Bulgaria won the gold medal in the 25 M Pistol Trio Women event at the 2025 European Championship 25M/50M/300M/ Running Target and Shotgun in Châteauroux, France. Antoaneta Kostadinova, Miroslava Mincheva and Lidia Nencheva defeated Germany in the gold medal match with a score of 13:11. In the qualification round, the Bulgarian trio scored 439 points matching the European record.

Miroslava Mincheva also became European champion in the 25 M Pistol Women event. She delivered the most precise shooting in the final, while her teammate from the shooting sports club "Svetkavitsa" - Targovishte, Antoaneta Kostadinova, won the bronze medal. Mincheva qualified for the final in 8th place with 582 points, while Kostadinova qualified 5th with 584 points. Miroslava Mincheva claimed the gold medal with 36 points in the final. Austria’s Sylvia Steiner took silver with 34 points and Antoaneta Kostadinova secured bronze with 31 points.
