Weather forecast for 12 August

Maximum daily temperatures expected to drop by 3-4°C

On Tuesday, minimum temperatures will range from 18 to 24°C, cooling to 19°C in Sofia. It will be mostly sunny during the day, with a light breeze. After noon, cumulus clouds will develop over the mountains, but there will only be isolated showers in southwestern Bulgaria. Maximum daytime temperatures will drop slightly to between 32 and 37°C; in Sofia, it will be 33°C.


The Black Sea coast will be sunny with a moderate north-easterly wind. Maximum air temperatures will rise to 28–30°C. The sea temperature will be 26–27°C. Sea conditions: 2–3.


It will be sunny in the mountains. Clouds will gather over the southwestern massifs in the afternoon, with the possibility of the odd shower. Maximum temperatures will be around 26°C at 1,200 metres and 20°C at 2,000 metres.


On Wednesday, it will be sunny with maximum temperatures ranging from 30 to 35°C. There will be a moderate easterly wind.
