Weather forecast for 14 October

Cloudy with showers in the east and in the mountains

On Tuesday, minimum temperatures will range from 5 to 10°C, 7°C in Sofia. There will be significant cloud cover throughout the day, with light precipitation in some eastern and mountainous regions. Maximum temperatures will range from 15 to 20°C, reaching around 15°C in Sofia.


The Black Sea coast will be cloudy with brief showers. Light to moderate winds will blow from the north-northwest. Maximum air temperatures will range from 16 to 18°C. Sea water temperatures will range from 18 to 19°C. The sea swell will reach 2 metres.


Cloudy skies are expected in the mountains, with light rain in some places and snow above around 2,400 metres. There will be significant breaks in cloud cover over the massifs in southwestern Bulgaria before noon. The wind will blow moderately from the west-northwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 metres will be around 10 °C, while at 2,000 metres it will be around 4 °C.


On Wednesday, the clouds will be patchy, with light rain expected in eastern Bulgaria and the mountains. The wind will weaken. Temperatures will drop slightly.
