In New York Bulgarian President Rumen Radev met with the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly.
The two officials have discussed the development of the Western Balkans and the need of closer regional cooperation. The migration crisis has been discussed as well.
Later today the Bulgarian president will visit the Bulgarian church in New York and will talk with representatives of the Bulgarian community on the premises of the General Consular Office in that city.
