In support of saved children’s lives fundraising in the Bulgarian Christmas charity campaign continues.
On 25 December the Ivan Vazov National Theater played host to the traditional charity show under the patronage of the President of Bulgaria.
So far this year the Bulgarian Christmas campaign has raised more than 1 million euro, the press service of the Presidency said. Receipts in the campaign will help improve the capacity for long-term treatment of children with chronic conditions and disabilities. State-of-the art medical equipment is needed for hospitals in Sofia, Momin Prohod, Kotel, Burgas, Varna, Stara Zagora and Tryavna. The fundraising bank accounts of the Bulgarian Christmas remain open.
In the fourteen campaigns so far about 15 million euro has been raised, more than 3800 children have been supported as well as dozens of hospitals.
