Bulgaria’s honey is sold successfully on the foreign markets, caretaker Deputy-Minister of Agriculture and Food Professor Georgi Zhelyazkov said in the city of Pleven (Central North Bulgaria) during the opening of the 15th International Fair Apiculture-Pleven-2017. Deputy Minister Zhelyazkov pointed out that Bulgaria produces between 12,500 and 13,000 tons of honey per year and exports nearly 6.500 to 7.000 tons of honey.
