Commissioner Věra Jourová starts dealing with case related to double standard in food products on Western and Eastern European markets

The European Commissioner for Justice, Consumers and Gender Equality Věra Jourová has started to deal with the case related to the double standard in food products on Western and Eastern European markets that are manufactured by the same company and sold under the same brand, Bulgaria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Rumen Porozhanov announced. Minister Porozhanov repeated the information that a double standard was found in nearly 20% of the food products inspected by the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Information from all EU countries will be summarized this month, because the case is connected with unfair commercial practices.
