The desecration of monuments is as unacceptable, as the distortion of the Bulgarian history, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev said in an interview for the Bulgarian National Television. Earlier on Friday the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also condemned the act of vandalism against the Alyosha Monument in Plovdiv where anti-Semitic statements and Nazi symbols were used.
