Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov held a phone conversation with Saudi Arabian Royal Court Adviser Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz al Saud at the request of the Saudi Prince. Borissov and Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz al Saud discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation in a series of fields of mutual interest. Premier Borissov accentuated on the investment opportunities in Bulgaria, including the project for construction of the Balkan gas distribution hub. Boyko Borissov and Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz al Saud also discussed possible establishment of joint stock company between the Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company. In Premier Borissov’s view, the new joint company will help Bulgaria attract more investments in agriculture, stock-breeding and processing industry and will contribute to Saudi Arabia’s food security.
