Bulgaria evacuates EU citizens from India

Bulgaria has repatriated 39 Bulgarians, 9 Romanians and 2 Hungarians from India. The flight from Delhi operated by the Bulgarian-registered airline BH Air is part of the pan-European evacuation system. Bulgaria's Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva thanked her Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. She has requested permission for another BH Air flight from Delhi to bring back to Europe nationals of Bulgaria, Belgium, Spain, Finland, Croatia, Slovenia, Portugal, Greece, Poland, North Macedonia and Montenegro. 

The flights are coordinated by the Bulgarian Ambassador in Delhi Eleonora Dimitrova

An EU evacuation flight took off from Denpasar Airport on Bali Island to Frankfurt. There is also a group of Bulgarian tourists on board the aircraft.
