The trends are disturbing, in the last 8 days we have an increase in the positive cases, Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev, director of the National Centre for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and a member of the National Operations Staff commented for the Bulgarian National Radio.

There are many local outbreaks of the infection. People get infected because of not following basic rules - not to gather in crowds in closed places. This will bring many negative consequences, the professor said.
According to Kantardzhiev, it is not logical to place checkpoints at the entrances and exits of towns or to close people at home. In indoor public places I recommend masks, use of disinfectants, avoiding the gatherings of large groups indoors, the professor underlined.
