Over-the-counter drugs should be available in food chains, Bulgarian Medical Union say

The Bulgarian Medical Union has called for the opening of 24-hour pharmacies as soon as possible as a necessary measure to combat the coronavirus epidemic. Currently, they are only 1% of those operating throughout the country, although Bulgaria is one of the first in number of pharmacies per capita. The organization also proposes that over-the-counter medications be sold in food chains and 24-hour stores. In the initial stages of the disease in 90% of cases it is not necessary to take prescription drugs, the BMU say.
