National Revenue Agency checks data announced at a sitting of an ad hoc audit committee

The National Revenue Agency is checking the information announced at the sittings of the parliamentary committee for revision of the government’s work over the past 10 years. Aaudit may be conducted, depending on the results of the check. Bulgaria’s Prosecutor's Office also launched an investigation into allegations made by businessman Svetoslav Ilchovski who accused the owner of Gradus AD of deceiving investors during the listing of the company on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in 2018.

The shares of Gradus company tumbled after the scandal. As a result, the company's investors suffered losses to the tune of more than EUR 12 million, the company's management announced.
