Six houses and many farm buildings have been completely destroyed by the fire that broke out last night in the village of Krastava located in Velingrad Municipality. Local volunteers have been also fighting the natural calamity after a village resident asked for help in the social networks.
Members of offroad clubs from Velingrad and Rakitovo also showed willingness to help, but because of water shortage, they could not extinguish the fire and the flames engulfed houses and farm buildings. The firefighting teams which arrived from the nearby towns of Sarnitsa and Yakoruda put the fire under control.
