Police detains man who send murder threat to Parliamentary Speaker

The man who sent a murder threat to the National Assembly Speaker Iva Miteva via email has been detained and charges are expected to be raised against him.

Last night, 26-year-old Lyubomir Yakov, who has a criminal past, was arrested in Stara Zagora. 
The prosecution will extend his detention for 72 hours and request his permanent detention. The suspect was reached after several hours of work by a team from the Cybercrime Department, with the help of which the man was located.
In front of the Bulgarian National Radio, Toshko Yordanov, deputy chairman of There Are Such People party (ITN), described the threat to Iva Miteva as an "absolute political demonstration of intimidation." One of the amendments to the National Guard Service bill provides for the removal of state security by the chief prosecutor.
