Outage of Kozloduy NPP’s reactor 6 for preventive maintenance

An outage of Kozloduy nuclear power plant's Unit 6 for preventive maintenance is planned as of 29 September.

The preventive technical maintenance and the planned measures connected with the plant’s long-term exploitation will go on until the beginning of November. The reactor will be refueled with fresh nuclear fuel for the next, 27th fuel campaign. During the 12 months of the previous, 26th fuel campaign, reactor No. 6 produced over 8.2 billion kWh of electric energy.

The other, 5th reactor of Kozloduy NPP will continue functioning according to schedule.
