Bulgaria reports 4,626 new daily Covid-19 cases, 105 deaths

4,626 is the number of newly registered Covid-19 cases out of 25,056 tests performed in the country in the past day, a positivity rate of 18.46 %, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show.

5,545 patients are being treated in hospital, 588 of them in intensive care. 633 is the number of new hospital admissions, 85.15% of them among the unvaccinated.

105 coronavirus patients have died in the past 24 hours, 89.52% of them were not vaccinated. 9,866 is the number of reported recoveries.

The highest number of new infections was registered in Sofia – 989,Varna – 740,Burgas – 420 and Plovdiv – 382.  

5,703 doses of vaccine have been administered in the past day. 2,034,242 is the number of people with a completed vaccination cycle in the country, 666,736 have taken a booster dose.
