The search and rescue operations continue in Chasiv Yar where Russian rockets destroyed residential buildings, killing 15. More than 20 people could still be trapped under the rubble, Donetsk regional governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said. There is no change along the frontline in Ukraine.

“Let's prepare ourselves for a total cut-off of Russian gas; Today that is the most likely option,” French Minister Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire stated at an economic conference in Aix-en-Provence, France.

Russia is halting the delivery of gas to Germany along Nord Stream pipeline from 11th to 21st July for planned maintenance, Gazprom says. Ukraine’s Energy Minister German Galushchenko stated that in this way Russia was blackmailing Europe because the Russian Federation could supply gas in the required volumes through Ukrainian transit but had reduced deliveries in mid-June under the pretext of repairs of the facility.
