Bulgaria reports 24 Covid-related deaths in past day, more than one-quarter of the tests return positive

2,610 is the number of new Covid-19 cases out of 10,204 tests performed in the country in the past day, up by 2,141 compared to the day before. The positivity rate stands at 25.6%, compared to 25.2% on the previous day, Single Coronavirus Information Portal data show. The number of active cases in the country has gone up by 1,976 to 25,157.

275 patients have been admitted to hospital in the past day, 219 of them or over 79% are not vaccinated. The number of people being treated in hospital is up by 27 to 1,000, of them 59 are in intensive care.

24 patients with established Covid-19 have died in the past 24 hours, 23 of them were not vaccinated. 1,610 is the number of recoveries reported.

1,594 doses of vaccine have been administered on Monday.
