“What we are now seeing is a political bacchanalia under the guise of negotiations for a new government", the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party Kornelia Ninova said for bTV.

In her words, the parties that will receive the first and the second cabinet-forming mandate - GERB and respectively "We Continue the Change", are talking about the third mandate, which is still unknown. “In the meantime, the National Assembly is adopting controversial decisions in murky waters. Look what happened during the time for negotiations given by the country's head of state. The caretaker cabinet adopted controversial decisions which would hardly pass if there was a regular cabinet- the investment project for the purchase of 8 new F-16 fighter jets, the collection of bids for 10 Gripen fighter aircraft, the accession to the eurozone in January 2024 and the decision to send weapons to Ukraine. However, it froze the most important thing – the state budget", Kornelia Ninova said.
