During the next 24 hours the weather will be predominantly cloudy. The rain will continue, heavier in some parts, lighter in most of the Upper Thracian Plain. The wind from the Southwest will continue, in Eastern Bulgaria and the regions North of the mountains it will be strong to tempestuous.
Tomorrow, 11 December, the weather will continue comparatively warm, with morning temperatures around and over 10° C., for Sofia - around 9° C. Daytime temperatures will reach 9°-10° C. in the Northwestern parts, and 18°-19° C. in the parts of the country with a southerly wind, for Sofia around 15° C. In the afternoon the wind will begin to turn from the Northwest, ushering in cold air. As the cold front passes there will be thunder.
In the mountains the weather will be predominantly cloudy, and there will be rain, significant in some parts. Temperatures will continue comparatively high, reaching a maximum of around11° C. at 1,200 m. and 5° C. at 2,000 m. In most parts there will be rain, and on higher ground – snow. With the passing of a cold atmospheric front temperatures will begin to drop, first in the Northwestern regions, and at around 1,500-1,600 m., the rain will turn to snow. As colder air sweeps across the country from the Northwest in a Northeasterly direction, there may be thunder.
