The agreement between Bulgaria and Ukraine, signed on 5 December 2022 by the defence ministries of the two countries, on the supply of Bulgarian arms, equipment and ammunition to Ukraine free of charge for the host country, was adopted today by the Council of Ministers in Sofia with an amendment. The supplementary agreement revokes Article 1(3) of the 5 December agreement, which stated that the list of Bulgarian military supplies to Ukraine could be revised by the Council of Ministers in Sofia at the request of the Ukrainian side.

With today's vote, the caretaker government proposes that if changes to the list are required, the decision will have to be ratified by the Bulgarian National Assembly. Kiev accepts the addition to the agreement.
