There are a total of 4,078 HIV positive persons in Bulgaria, 30 of whom have been registered since the beginning of the year. The age group of 30 to 39 years is the most affected with a share of 41%, followed by that of the 40-49 year olds with 29% and the group of 20-29 years with 17% of the cases.
