The World Health Organization celebrates its 75th anniversary and on this occasion has launched a one-year-long campaign under the motto "Health for All".

In an interview with BNR, Prof. Dr. Mihail Okoliyski, who heads the WHO office in Bulgaria, pointed out the need for easy access to health care in Bulgaria. Patients in this country currently pay half of the costs, he said. According to Dr. Okoliyski, "those who make politics concentrate on costly interventions, while investments in prevention are the most effective".

On the occasion of World Health Day, President Rumen Radev will give state awards to prominent Bulgarian doctors and health care specialists.
