Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov has provided more details about the people of Bulgarian descent held hostages by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. "They are of Bulgarian origin. Their grandparents lived in Bulgaria and then moved to Israel. We are assisting the Israeli authorities as much as possible in order to look for opportunities for positive development," PM Denkov said.

He added that two weeks ago there was no such information and that the situation became clear during his visit to Israel on Monday. "Everything that should and could have been done has already been done," the prime minister added.
