The Bulgarian National Bank has warned that it does not make calls to citizens offering loans or other financial services. The warning comes in connection with recent cases of telephone calls from individuals claiming to be employees of the BNB. Such calls are fraudulent and do not originate from BNB employees, the financial institution emphasizes, warning citizens not to provide personal data over the phone or follow instructions received in such calls.
