Seven Bulgarian nationals have been detained in Spain on suspicion of having been part of a crime group involved in trafficking in human beings, prostitution and money laundering. Bulgarian police have taken part in the operation. The detainees are six men and a woman aged from 23 to 49. Traffickers used to recruit women from different countries and took them to Spain where they forced them to work as prostitutes.
